Natty little cases ~ and WW1 artworks

From 'The Works' £6 a set of 3 or 2 x sets of 3, for £10 -
so I now have 2 sets of 3  and one will be for a working kit box
for hexi making.
Now what the hell will I use the others for lol
Well maybe little 'quiet stories' for Evie, one could be sea themed, one farm yard maybe .... thinking cap on and more later when I've thought it through.

Nipped into Central Library today and an adult learners group were displaying their work, all on the theme of WW1.
I thought this grouping was cleverly done, canvases on point and in sepia tone.

Thought this below was great

This below seemed topical given the amazing pottery poppies being installed around the Tower of London

and I thought this below was stunning, very emotive ~

and this was just plain cute lol

and I thought it was touching that the pigeons used to carry messages were not forgotten too

  2. You're right - that third last image is stunning. The silhouette against the poppy field is one that gives you pause for thought and reflection for sure. Lovely cases, btw.
